侯跃清（又名侯耀清），湖南省溆浦县人，国家一级美朮师，湖南省美协会员。自幼喜好书画艺术，在学校读书期间一直担任学校美朮方面的相关工作，为以后工作中的业余书画创作打下了一定的基础。退休以后有了较充裕的时间，参加了湖南省老干部（老年）书画家协会，湘西自治州老年书画家协会，曾担任副会长兼副秘书长职务，目前是该协会艺术顾问。作品以人物、花鸟画为主，尤以画梅擅长，受王成喜大师影响，长期心摹手追终于有了一定的成就，作品多次参加省内外书画展，受到好评并被单位和个人收藏。

Hou Yueqing (also known as Hou Yaoqing), a native of Xupu County, Hunan Province, is a National First-Class Artist and member of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association. His passion for calligraphy and painting began in childhood. During his school years, he consistently handled art-related tasks, laying a solid foundation for his later artistic pursuits. After retirement, he joined the Hunan Provincial Retired Cadres (Senior Citizens) Calligraphers and Painters Association and the Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture Senior Calligraphers and Painters Association, where he served as Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General before becoming an art consultant. His works primarily focus on figure and flower-and-bird paintings, with particular expertise in plum blossom depictions. Inspired by Master Wang Chengxi, he has dedicated years to studying and practicing, achieving notable accomplishments. His artworks have been exhibited in numerous provincial and national exhibitions, receiving widespread acclaim and being collected by both institutions and private collectors.
